Sennheiser HMDC 27 Broadcast Headset With NoiseGard Technology

Engineered for live broadcast commentators and production audio engineers operating in high-SPL environments, this closed circumaural headset combines precision monitoring with advanced hearing protection. The dynamic microphone capsule maintains broadcast-quality articulation in noisy stadium, arena, and outdoor venue conditions where condenser elements struggle. Switchable NoiseGard active noise reduction provides an additional 15 dB of ambient attenuation, ensuring clear communication during loud live events.

The split headband architecture distributes weight evenly across the skull, eliminating pressure points during extended commentary shifts. Modular cable and boom arm compatibility allows engineers to adapt the platform to different console ecosystems and workflows. Flip-away earcup positioning supports single-ear monitoring when directors need to split attention between program audio and live ambient sound. ActiveGard limiting prevents sudden transient damage during sound checks and technical rehearsals.
