Clear-Com PT-8 Push-to-Talk Fist Microphone For Intercom | 4-pin XLR-F

The Clear-Com PT-8 is a hand-held dynamic communications microphone purpose-built for professional intercom environments in broadcast, live production, theater, and installed AV. Its omni-directional polar pattern and tailored 50-16kHz frequency response deliver intelligible voice pickup in demanding on-set, backstage, and venue settings where clarity under noise is non-negotiable. The unit is compatible with Clear-Com Encore Analog Partyline and Eclipse HX Digital Matrix systems, and connects to beltpack, station, and panel headset microphone inputs across supported platforms.

Where generic handset microphones compromise on durability or connector compatibility, the PT-8 is engineered specifically for intercom workflows. The high-impact housing is compact and light enough for extended handheld use, while the ergonomic form and durable push-to-talk switch hold up to daily production cycles. The swivel tab assembly and coiled cable add practical value for crew members who need a reliable mic that stays out of the way until it is needed. Available with 4-pin or 7-pin XLR-F connectors, the PT-8 integrates cleanly with a wide range of Clear-Com station and panel configurations.
