Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K Cinema Camera Full Frame Riggable Digital Film Camera | L-Mount

The Blackmagic PYXIS 6K is built for cinematographers, studio operators, and production teams who need a modular, high-resolution cinema camera capable of adapting to demanding rigs and varied production environments. Its full frame sensor delivers organic color science and wide dynamic range suited to narrative film, commercial production, and high-end broadcast work where image quality cannot be compromised.

The camera's extreme riggability sets it apart from fixed-body alternatives in the cinema camera market. Multiple mounting points, side plates, and compatibility with the optional URSA Cine EVF give operators the flexibility to configure the camera for handheld, gimbal, or studio setups without swapping platforms. Dual CFexpress Type B slots combined with simultaneous 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and H.264 proxy recording eliminates the need for a separate proxy workflow on set, saving time in both production and post.

Ethernet connectivity with Blackmagic Cloud integration, a Camera Control REST API, and web-based media management make the PYXIS 6K a practical choice for networked production environments where remote control and rapid media offload matter. DaVinci Resolve Studio is included, providing an end-to-end pipeline from capture to color grade without additional software investment.
