AtlasIED WPVT-1SN WPVT-SN Outdoor Surface Mount Intercom Station | 15W | 8 ohms

The AtlasIED WPVT-SN Series targets AV integrators and facilities managers specifying durable paging and intercom solutions for outdoor, industrial, and high-humidity environments. Built to endure temperature extremes, moisture, corrosion, dust, and vibration, these stations are engineered for installations where conventional speaker systems would fail — parking structures, campus walkways, industrial facilities, transportation terminals, and perimeter security applications.

Each station centers on the patented VT Series compression driver, a water-sealed, die-cast zinc unit with an integral exponential sound projector that delivers high intelligibility across wide dispersion angles. The semi-recessed enclosure accepts a variety of mounting accessories to address differing architectural and structural conditions, giving installers flexibility without requiring custom fabrication. The die-cast enclosure and face plate carry a neutral grey epoxy finish that resists environmental degradation over extended service life.

The weatherproof call button provides a reliable, field-proven call-in signaling path. Its heavy-duty momentary-action SPDT switch, rated for 3 amps and protected by a rubber boot, ensures consistent operation where exposed push buttons would degrade quickly. Against comparable outdoor horn or paging speakers, the WPVT-SN Series combines electroacoustic output with integrated call-origination capability, eliminating the need for a separate call station and reducing installation complexity in distributed intercom systems.
