AtlasIED VPVT-4PB Vandal Proof Intercom Compression Driver Station

The VPVT-4PB is engineered for security integrators and AV system designers who need a dependable intercom station in environments where standard equipment fails. Built around AtlasIED's patented VT Series compression driver housed in a water-sealed die cast zinc enclosure, it resists moisture, corrosion, dust, vibration, and temperature extremes from -30°F to 150°F — making it equally suited for outdoor entry points, parking structures, transit facilities, and industrial installations.

Unlike conventional intercom stations that require separate speaker and microphone elements, the VPVT-4PB's compression driver handles both functions for true hands-free communication with a centrally located master control. The 12-gauge stainless steel faceplate and tamperproof breakaway screws deter tampering without sacrificing serviceability. The exponential sound projector delivers wide-angle voice intelligibility, which is critical in high-ambient-noise environments where paging clarity directly affects safety and access control outcomes.

The 25V transformer with selectable power taps gives installers flexibility to match system impedance requirements without additional hardware. The station mounts to the separately ordered VP-77 recessed enclosure, keeping the installation flush and tamper-resistant. For integrators specifying a complete vandal-resistant intercom system, the VPVT-4PB represents a field-proven solution with a five-year warranty backing its long-term deployment.
