AtlasIED VPCS-3GPB-245 Wired Intercom Station With Call Switch 25V

The AtlasIED VPCS-3GPB-245 is engineered for security-conscious installed audio environments where reliable voice paging and call origination are both required. Designed for systems integrators and facility managers deploying wired intercom infrastructure in schools, healthcare facilities, correctional institutions, or commercial buildings, this station combines a rugged 11-gauge stainless steel face plate with a two-piece die-cast baffle system that physically shields the loudspeaker from tampering and physical abuse.

The 25V transformer with selectable 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2 watt taps gives installers precise control over coverage zone levels without additional attenuation hardware, making it a practical choice for multi-zone distributed audio systems running on 25V infrastructure. The shallow 3-gang form factor mounts directly to standard electrical back boxes, reducing rough-in complexity on renovation or new construction projects.

The push-button call switch uses a heavy-duty momentary-action mechanism rated for 3A at 120VAC, with nickel-plated brass construction and an IP65 moisture seal — a specification level that separates this station from standard commercial intercom hardware in demanding or semi-exposed environments. The phenolic resin impregnated cone loudspeaker delivers focused speech-range output optimized for intelligibility rather than wide-band reproduction, which is the correct priority in paging and intercom applications where voice clarity is the performance metric that matters.
