AtlasIED IEDA520DTB Weighted Desktop Base for Intercom Stations

The AtlasIED IEDA520DTB is an optional weighted desktop base designed for integrators and AV installation teams who need a reliable countertop mounting solution for compatible intercom stations. Rather than committing to a permanent wall or panel installation, this base allows stations to be positioned on desks, reception counters, and operator surfaces while remaining stable under daily use conditions.

The weighted design addresses a common problem with lightweight desktop accessories: unwanted movement or tipping when users interact with the intercom. For facilities such as corporate lobbies, healthcare reception areas, educational front offices, or security checkpoints, a secure and stationary intercom presence is essential to professional operation. The IEDA520DTB delivers that stability without requiring structural modifications to the installation surface.

As an optional accessory within the AtlasIED intercom ecosystem, this base gives integrators flexibility to adapt deployment based on site requirements — choosing between surface-mounted and desktop configurations using the same intercom hardware. This reduces the need to stock separate equipment for different installation types and simplifies project planning across multi-site deployments.
