AtlasIED IED550CS-G IED550CS Touch Screen Digital Communication Station | Gooseneck Mic

The AtlasIED 550CS series digital communication station is engineered for facilities requiring reliable, programmable paging and audio/visual announcement control through GLOBALCOM Announcement Control Systems. It is a strong fit for installed AV environments such as airports, transit facilities, healthcare campuses, corporate complexes, and education facilities where consistent voice intelligibility and network-based control are non-negotiable.

Each station functions as a fully programmable touch screen user interface, giving operators direct control over announcement routing without complex external hardware. The electret condenser cartridge is positioned within the housing to optimize acoustical coupling, resulting in a full-bodied, highly intelligible voice signal that holds up in demanding ambient noise environments. An auxiliary line-level audio input supports local background music sourcing, while the line-level audio output enables direct zone feed — making the station a flexible node in a distributed audio architecture.

As a true network appliance, each 550CS station can be assigned a static IP address or obtain one automatically via DHCP, streamlining large-scale deployments and simplifying ongoing configuration. This reduces integration overhead for AV system integrators and IT teams managing multi-zone paging infrastructure across enterprise or public-address installations.
