AtlasIED IED5416CS-G 16-Button Digital Communications Station

The AtlasIED IED5416CS-G is designed for system integrators and AV professionals deploying paging and announcement systems in commercial, institutional, or facility environments. As a network appliance compatible with the 5400 Series Announcement Control Systems, it supports automatic or manually assigned IP addressing, simplifying deployment across distributed installations without complex configuration overhead.

The station's electret condenser microphone cartridge is precisely positioned within the housing to optimize acoustical coupling, delivering a full-bodied, highly intelligible voice signal — a critical requirement for life-safety paging, facility-wide announcements, and mass notification scenarios. The included gooseneck microphone uses an omnidirectional pattern, eliminating the proximity effect that introduces low-frequency coloration when users speak at close range, which is a common issue with directional capsules in staff-operated stations.

Beyond microphone input, the IED5416CS-G provides an auxiliary line-level audio input for local background music sourcing and a line-level audio output configurable as a zone output, giving integrators flexible signal routing options within larger installed audio architectures. The 16 fully programmable buttons allow precise zone and function assignments tailored to the specific announcement workflow of each deployment site.
