AtlasIED IED5400ACS EN54-16 Emergency Announcement Controller

The AtlasIED IED5400ACS is engineered for systems integrators and AV professionals deploying EN54-16 compliant life-safety emergency notification systems in commercial, institutional, and public venue installations. As the central intelligence of a GLOBALCOM network, it supervises and reports equipment faults and active alarm conditions across an entire system of emergency communication stations and digital zone manager amplifier units.

The IED5400ACS combines announcement control and message server functions into a single 1U rack-mount unit, eliminating the need for separate server hardware in mid-to-large scale installations. When projects demand additional non-emergency functionality or expanded peripheral support, the unit interfaces directly with GLOBALCOM 1100ACS and 1200ACS controllers, providing a scalable path without replacing core infrastructure.

For integrators specifying systems in transportation hubs, healthcare facilities, or multi-zone public address environments where EN54-16 compliance is a hard requirement, the IED5400ACS provides a verified, standards-based platform backed by a 36-month warranty.
