17" 2nd Gen Panel PC - i5-8265U, 4GB / 512GB SSD / Ubuntu

Select the 512GB SSD build with Intel Core i5-8265U and 4GB RAM for this 17-inch 2nd Gen panel computer. 1280 x 1024 display; supplied with Ubuntu.

Plan a defined software image

With 4GB RAM, check the operating system and application memory requirements together. Include startup services and connected-device software in that budget.

Plan local records on the 512GB SSD

This 512GB SSD provides more nominal capacity than the 128GB and 256GB options where those builds are available. Size project files, caches and log retention from actual application usage.

Integrate the i5-8265U platform

Documented interfaces: 2 x Gigabit LAN / 2 x USB 2.0 + 2 x USB 3.0 / 2 x RS232. Match the exact controller and peripheral connections, drivers and operating system to the project. The CPU model alone does not establish software compatibility.

This is a configuration of the 17-inch 2nd Gen family. RAM and SSD choices do not change its documented enclosure, connectors or environmental ratings.
