Specify the 16GB memory requirement

This build supplies 16GB RAM. Use the application vendor's requirements and measured peak memory use to decide whether that capacity is needed for your deployment.

Allocate the 256GB SSD

Divide the 256GB SSD between the software image, project files and local records. The required log or recipe history determines the storage budget; retention time depends on your data rate.

Integrate the i5-8265U platform

Documented interfaces: 2 x Gigabit LAN / 2 x USB 2.0 + 2 x USB 3.0 / 2 x RS232. Match the exact controller and peripheral connections, drivers and operating system to the project. The CPU model alone does not establish software compatibility.

This is a configuration of the 17-inch 2nd Gen family. RAM and SSD choices do not change its documented enclosure, connectors or environmental ratings.
